Acceptance and eligibility
These Terms form an agreement between you and Gabriella Marcelly Santos de Andrade, operator of TravelJournal. You must be at least 18, legally able to enter into a contract and confirm acceptance of these Terms during registration. Keep your account and email secure and provide accurate information.

Service and your content
TravelJournal is a private digital travel journal with features such as entries, Memories, Journeys, photos, maps, search and private sharing. Features may change and the service is not an emergency, navigation or permanent-backup service.
You keep ownership of your content and are responsible for having the right to use it. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store, organize, resize, display, protect and deliver it to you or an authorized private-link recipient.
- Do not upload illegal, abusive, exploitative, malicious or rights-infringing content.
- Do not access another account, bypass security or payment controls, introduce malware, scrape private data or interfere with the service.
- The software, interface and TravelJournal brand remain the operator's intellectual property.

Plans, billing and cancellation
Current prices, limits, features, billing interval and renewal date are shown on the Pricing page and in Stripe Checkout. Paid subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until canceled. Photo allowances renew monthly, including on annual plans, and unused allowance does not roll over.
Cancel the next renewal through Usage & Billing or the Stripe portal. Normal cancellation preserves paid access until the end of the current billing period and does not delete your account.

Refunds and mandatory rights
Completed payments are not voluntarily refunded or prorated, except when applicable law requires otherwise. This does not limit mandatory consumer rights.
For a legally required refund, including a qualifying seven-day withdrawal request under Brazilian law, email hello.traveljournal@gmail.com from the account email with the Stripe invoice or transaction reference and your country of purchase. We will verify the request and process any amount legally due through Stripe without a cancellation fee.

Account deletion
Account deletion is separate from subscription cancellation. If a paid subscription is active, first cancel its next renewal. After Stripe confirms scheduled cancellation, you may delete immediately in Settings, permanently lose account access and saved data, and give up any remaining paid time without a voluntary refund.
There is no self-service full-account export. Save any individual content you want to keep before deletion. Some transaction, security, dispute and backup records may remain when required by law or normal protected deletion cycles.

Availability and enforcement
We aim to keep the service available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation, perfect map information or recovery after deletion. Keep separate copies of irreplaceable photos and writing.
We may restrict or close accounts for serious or repeated violations, illegal activity, fraud, non-payment or security risks, with notice when reasonably possible. Liability and warranties are limited only to the extent permitted by law; mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Law, changes and contact
Brazilian law applies, without removing any mandatory protection or competent consumer forum available to you. We may update these Terms when the service or law changes and will provide notice or request renewed acceptance when required.
