02
Why they are used
Necessary technologies keep accounts signed in, protect private content and complete requested actions. Preference storage remembers your choices. Operational measurements help us find errors and improve performance.
When you open Stripe Checkout or the billing portal, Stripe controls the technologies on its hosted pages. Loading interactive maps can send technical request data, including IP address, to Mapbox. Location search terms and language are sent from our server to LocationIQ; your browser does not receive the LocationIQ access token.
03
Your controls
You can delete or block cookies and local or session storage in your browser, clear recent searches in TravelJournal, and revoke device-location permission. Blocking necessary technologies may prevent login, private media, maps, recovery or payment features from working.
If we add an optional technology that legally requires consent, it will remain disabled until the required choice is made.
04
Changes and contact
We will update this Policy if the technologies or their purposes change. Questions may be sent to hello.traveljournal@gmail.com.
